Blog_9 Media Mid term Research

1)Thesis / Thesis Statement: Is that sentence or two in your text that contains the focus of your essay and tells your reader what the essay is going to be about.
Research: a careful study to discover correct information. Ex: To get more detailed information about our competitors we have to do some research on the Internet as well as in libraries.
Argument: A discussion in which disagreement is expressed; a debate. Ex: The main argument here is animal cruelty.
Claim: To demand, ask for, or take as one's own or one's due. Ex: The main claim that lawyers present that there was no evidence during the arrest.
Reasons: A declaration made to explain or justify action, decision, or conviction. Ex: The one main reason is because I can truly empathize with patients.
Evidence: A thing or things helpful in forming a conclusion or judgment, supporting facts. Ex: there is no evidence of
MLA Citation Style: Acknowledge information used in a research paper by writing author’s name, title, page. Ex:
2) I need to do a research and like a comparison in how T.V. has change the world and how this is damaging our children’s mind. How this violence has been damaging the world. I might have to do a lot of research in the internet.
